This past weekend Brandi and I took a rode trip to Spicewood, TX for a club fitting. You see, in December my golf clubs were stolen out of my Xterra that was parked in my reserved parking spot at my apartment complex. Nice safe neighborhood, or so I thought! Anyway, I am in need of some new sticks. So I went to visit Ryan Crysler at Austin Golf Club. Ryan is also a TPI certified instructor. I must stay that the experience was very cool! He took some video of our swings and also ran us through some informal TPI screens. Then he fit us to some irons, woods, a driver and even a putter. He also recommended some exercises to correct some swing faults. We spent about 2 hours with Ryan and I was impressed by his skill, professionalism and easy going demeanor. I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone interested in getting fit for some new clubs. It’s a nice drive up 281 to Hwy 71 and on the way home be sure to stop at Opie’s BBQ and get some ribs!
